Portable Hot Tubs Spas – Positioning and Access Important

If you’ve made the decision to purchase a bathtub you have to think about the best places to stay in the bath, taking into account factors such as access to water and power. There are many factors to consider in a portable hot tub, and a commitment to care for your bathtub is at the top of the list. If the hot tub is maintained properly, it is possible that there will be a minimum service required to keep running at peak performance.

As far as positions go, portable hot tubs spas must be placed above the perfectly flat, solid surface such as concrete porch. If you consider putting a bucket on the deck, the deck must be level, and strong enough to withstand the tub when filled with water and people. If you do not have a choice, there’s a hot tub on the market now with built-in flat foundation that allows installing them anywhere, even directly in the ground.

When installing portable hot tub spa, it is very important to consider the need for access by technicians for spa treatments and regular check-ups. Maintenance checks are imperative in keeping your spa in good running condition for maximum pleasure. Access to space at least 18 inch to 2 feet or more MUST be allowed in the hot tub for maintenance or upgrade to a newer accessory such as a jet.

In situations where there is no access to space, it then becomes necessary to drain the tub, remove steps and other items nearby and move the tub in order to get a technician in the areas that need attention. As mentioned earlier, if you have a big bathtub, a crane will be asked to move even a few meters.

Then, of course, when maintenance is complete, the tub will have to move back into place, filled and heated, all the great cost and inconvenience to the owner. Will be easier to think about the need for access when initially designing the space where the hot tub will sit.
